Efficiency of sonohysterography combined with transvaginal three-dimensional ultrasound in diagnosis of intrauterine adhesions
Objective:To analyze efficiency of sonohysterography(SHG)combined with transvaginal three-dimensional ultrasound(3D-TVUS)in diagnosis of intrauterine adhesions. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 125 patients with suspected intrauterine adhesions admitted to the hospital from April 2020 to April 2023.SHG and 3D-TVUS were performed in all patients.Using the results of hysteroscopy as the"gold standard",the results and the efficiencies of single and combined detection of SHG and 3D-TVUS in the diagnosis of intrauterine adhesions were compared.Kappa test was used to analyze the consistencies of single and combined detection of SHG and 3D-TVUS with hysteroscopy. Results:The gold standard showed that among the 125 patients with suspected intrauterine adhesions,98 were positive and 27 were negative;SHG test showed that 96 cases were positive and 29 cases were negative;3D-TVUS showed that 95 cases were positive and 30 cases were negative;and SHG combined with 3D-TVUS showed that 96 cases were positive and 29 cases were negative. The sensitivity, the specificity and the accuracy of SHG combined with 3D-TVUS were higher than those of SHG and 3D-TVUS,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Kappa test showed that the combined detection of SHG and 3D-TVUS had good consistency with hysteroscopy in the diagnosis of intrauterine adhesions, which was higher than that of single detection of SHG and 3D-TVUS.Conclusions:The efficiency of SHG combined with 3D-TVUS in the diagnosis of intrauterine adhesions is higher than that of single detection.
