Application effects of narrative therapy nursing in patients with depression
Objective:To observe application effects of narrative therapy nursing in patients with depression. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 82 patients with depression admitted to the hospital from January 2020 to December 2020.According to the random number table method, they were divided into observation group and control group,41 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given the narrative therapy nursing on the basis of that of the control group. The scores of negative emotions[Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA),Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)],the hope[Herth hope index(HHI)]and the social function[social disability screening scale(SDSS)]were compared between the two groups before and after the nursing. Results:After the nursing, the scores of HAMA and HAMD in the two groups were lower than those before the nursing, those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The HHI scores of the two groups such as positive attitude towards reality and future, positive action, and close relationship with others were higher than those before the nursing, that in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the SDSS scores of the two groups were lower than those before the nursing, that in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:On the basis of the routine nursing, the narrative therapy nursing can improve the hope scores of the patients with depression and reduce the scores of negative emotion and social function. Moreover,it is superior to single routine nursing.
