Influencing factors of drug resistance of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis
Objective:To analyze influencing factors of drug resistance of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis. Methods:The clinical data of 100 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis who were treated in Quanzhou First Hospital from April 2020 to April 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. The morning sputum of these patients within 24 hours of admission was collected for bacterial culture and drug sensitivity test.According to the drug resistance of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, they were divided into drug resistance group(n=40)and sensitive group(n=60).The influencing factors of drug resistance of Mycobacterium tuberculosis were analyzed. Results:Among the 100 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis,40 cases were resistant to Mycobacterium tuberculosis with a drug resistance rate of 40.00%,of which MDR-TB accounted for 80.00%.There were no significant differences in gender, age, body mass index, marriage, course of disease,drinking,hypertension,long-term use of Glucocorticoids, invasive procedures, and number of lung lobes involved between the two groups(P>0.05).There were significant differences in residence, smoking, diabetes, cavitary pulmonary tuberculosis and retreatment pulmonary tuberculosis between the two groups(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that rural residence, smoking, diabetes, cavitary pulmonary tuberculosis and retreated pulmonary tuberculosis were risk factors for drug resistance of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in the patients with pulmonary tuberculosis(OR>1,P<0.05).Conclusions:Rural residence, smoking, diabetes, cavitary pulmonary tuberculosis and retreatment pulmonary tuberculosis are the risk factors for drug resistance of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in the patients with pulmonary tuberculosis.
