Effects of mechanical thrombectomy in treatment of patients with acute lower extremity deep venous thrombosis
Objective:To observe effects of mechanical thrombectomy in treatment of patients with acute lower extremity deep venous thrombosis. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 110 patients with acute lower extremity deep venous thrombosis admitted to the hospital from April 2022 to August 2023.According to the random number table method, they were divided into study group and control group,55 cases in each group. The control group was treated with catheter contact thrombolysis, while the study group was treated with mechanical thrombectomy. The clinical efficacy, the lower extremity venous blood flow velocity and thigh circumference difference before and 7 days after the surgery, the coagulation function indexes[prothrombin time(PT),D-dimer(D-D),fibrinogen(FIB)]levels,the incidence of complications, and the recurrence rate 3 months after the surgery were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate of the study group was 94.55%(52/55),which was higher than 81.82%(45/55)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).7 days after the surgery, the blood flow velocities of femoral vein and popliteal vein in the two groups were faster than those before the surgery, and those in the study group were faster than those in the control group;the thigh circumference differences of the two groups were smaller than those before the surgery, and that in the study group was smaller than that in the control group;and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).7 days after the surgery, the PT of the two groups were longer than those before the surgery, and that in the study group was longer than that in the control group;the levels of D-D and FIB in the two groups were lower than those before the surgery, and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group;and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the incidence of complications and the recurrence rate in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:Mechanical thrombectomy in the treatment of the patients with acute deep venous thrombosis of lower extremity can improve the clinical efficacy, improve the venous blood circulation and coagulation function of lower extremity, reduce the degree of limb swelling, and reduce the incidence of complications and the recurrence rate. Moreover,it is superior to catheter contact thrombolysis.
