Effects of Salvianolic acid combined with Alteplase intravenous thrombolysis in treatment of patients with acute cerebral infarction
Objective:To observe effects of Salvianolic acid combined with Alteplase intravenous thrombolysis in treatment of patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 92 patients with acute cerebral infarction admitted Department of Neurology of Xinyang Maternal and Child Health Hospital from October 2020 to October 2023.According to the random number table method, they were divided into study group and control group,46 cases in each group. The control group was treated with intravenous thrombolysis with Alteplase, while the study group was treated with Salvianolic acid for injection on the basis of that of the control group. The clinical efficacy, the National Institutes of Health stroke scale(NIHSS)score, the limb motor function scale(FMA)score, the Barthel index(BI)score, the serum inflammatory indexes[monocyte chemoattractant protein-1(MCP-1),tumor necrosis factor-α stimulating gene-6(TSG-6),soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1(sICAM-1)]levels,the vascular endothelial function indexes[serum endothelin-1(ET-1),homocysteine(Hcy),nitric oxide(NO)]levels, and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate of the study group was 89.13%,which was significantly higher than 71.74%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment, the BI and FMA scores and the serum NO levels in the two groups were higher than those before the treatment, and those in the study group were higher than those in the control group;the NIHSS scores and the serum levels of TSG-6,sICAM-1,MCP-1,ET-1 and Hcy in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment, and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group;and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusions:Salvianolic acid combined with Alteplase intravenous thrombolysis in the patients with acute cerebral infarction can improve the total effective rate of treatment, the BI scores and the FMA scores, improve the levels of vascular endothelial function indexes, and reduce the levels of NIHSS score and inflammatory indexes. Moreover,it is superior to simple Alteplase intravenous thrombolysis treatment.
