Effects of Ginkgo biloba extract combined with Dexamethasone sodium phosphate injection in treatment of patients with sudden deafness
Objective:To observe effects of Ginkgo biloba extract combined with Dexamethasone sodium phosphate injection in treatment of patients with sudden deafness.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 76 patients with sudden deafness admitted to this hospital from March 2020 to June 2023.According to the random number table method,they were divided into observation group and control group,38 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Dexamethasone sodium phosphate injection,while the observation group was treated with Ginkgo biloba extract on the basis of that of the control group.The clinical efficacy,the coagulation function indexes[prothrombin time(PT),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),fibrinogen(FIB),D-dimer(D-D)]levels,the blood routine indexes[white blood cell count(WBC),neutrophil count(NEUT),platelet count(PLT),platelet/lymphocyte ratio(PLR)]levels before and after the treatment,and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was 92.11%,which was higher than 73.68%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After the treatment,the PT and APTT of the two groups were longer than those before the treatment,and those in the observation group were longer than those in the control group;the levels of D-D,FIB,WBC,NEUT,PLT and PLR in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment,and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group;and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusions:Ginkgo biloba extract combined with Dexamethasone sodium phosphate injection in the treatment of the patients with sudden deafness can improve the total effective rate of treatment and improve the coagulation function index and blood routine index levels.Moreover,it is superior to simple Dexamethasone sodium phosphate injection treatment.
