Effects of Kuntai capsules combined with Estradiol and Drospirenone tablets in treatment of perimenopausal syndrome
Objective:To observe effects of Kuntai capsules combined with Estradiol and Drospirenone tablets in treatment of perimenopausal syndrome.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 120 patients with perimenopausal syndrome admitted to this hospital from January to December 2023.According to the random number table method,they were divided into control group and observation group,60 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Estradiol and Drospirenone tablets,while the observation group was treated with Kuntai capsules on the basis of that of the control group.The clinical efficacy,the TCM syndrome score,the sex hormones[anti-Millerian hormone(AMH),estradiol(E2),luteinizing hormone(LH)]levels and the T cell subsets(CD3+,CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+)levels before and after the treatment,and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was 91.67%(55/60),which was higher than 78.33%(47/60)of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After the treatment,the scores of TCM syndromes such as main symptoms and secondary symptoms in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After the treatment,the levels of E2 and AMH in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,the level of LH was lower than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After the treatment,the levels of CD3+,CD4+and CD4+/CD8+in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,the level of CD8+was lower than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusions:Kuntai capsules combined with Estradiol and Drospirenone tablets in the treatment of perimenopausal syndrome can improve the total effective rate of treatment,reduce the TCM syndrome scores,and improve the levels of sex hormones and T cell subsets.Moreover,it is superior to single Estradiol and Drospirenone tablets treatment.
