Application effects of traditional Chinese medicine nursing in postoperative patients with lumbar fracture
Objective:To observe application effects of traditional Chinese medicine nursing in postoperative patients with lumbar fracture. Methods:The clinical data of 96 postoperative patients with lumbar fracture admitted to the hospital from November 2020 to August 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different nursing methods, they were divided into control group(47 cases)and observation group(49 cases). The control group received routine nursing, while the observation group received the traditional Chinese medicine nursing on the basis of that of the control group. Both groups were treated for 1 month. The scores of pain[visual analogue scale(VAS)],the lumbar dysfunction[Oswestry disability index(ODI),Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA)]and the quality of life[general quality of life inventory-74(GQOLI-74)]before and after the nursing, and the nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results:After the nursing, the VAS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the nursing, the ODI score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, the JOA score was higher than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the nursing, the scores of GQOLI-74 dimensions such as physical function, social function, material life status and psychological function in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 93.88%(46/49),which was higher than that of the control group 74.47%(35/47),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The traditional Chinese medicine nursing in the postoperative patients with lumbar fracture can reduce the pain scores, improve the lumbar dysfunction scores, and improve the quality of life scores and the nursing satisfaction. Moreover,it is superior to the routine nursing.
