Application effects of palliative care in patients with cancer pain
Objective:To observe application effects of palliative care in patients with cancer pain. Methods:The clinical data of 300 patients with cancer pain admitted to this hospital from September 2020 to June 2021 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different nursing methods, they were divided into observation group and control group,150 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, while the observation group received the palliative care on the basis of that of the control group. The scores of cancer-related fatigue[cancer fatigue scale(CFS)],pain[numerical rating scale(NRS)]and quality of life[EORTC quality of life scale(EORTC QLQ-C30)]before and after the nursing, and the nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results:After the nursing, the CFS scores and the NRS scores of emotional fatigue, cognitive fatigue and physical fatigue in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the nursing, the EORTC QLQ-C30 score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 98.67%(148/150),which was higher than 94.00%(141/150)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The palliative care in the patients with cancer pain can reduce the cancer-related fatigue and pain scores and improve the quality of life scores and the nursing satisfaction. Moreover,it is superior to the routine nursing.
