Application effects of evidence-based nursing in rehabilitation training of postoperative patients with breast cancer
Objective:To observe application effects of evidence-based nursing in rehabilitation training of postoperative patients with breast cancer. Methods:The clinical data of 100 patients with breast cancer treated in this hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different nursing methods, they were divided into observation group and control group,50 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given evidence-based nursing on the basis of the control group. The scores of upper limb dysfunction[disabilities of the arm, shoulder, and hand(DASH)],the compliance rate of shoulder joint range of motion after the nursing, and the quality of life[functional assessment of cancer therapy-breast(FACT-B)]after the nursing were compared between the two groups. Results:After 3 months of nursing, the DASH scores of the two groups were lower than those 24 h after the surgery, that in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The compliance rates of shoulder flexion, extension, adduction, external rotation, adduction and internal rotation in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,after 3 months of nursing, the FACT-B scores of physiological status,social/family status, functional status, emotional status and additional attention and the total score in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:On the basis of the routine nursing, the evidence-based nursing can improve the compliance rate of shoulder joint range of motion and the quality of life scores, and reduce the scores of upper limb dysfunction in the postoperative patients with breast cancer. Moreover,it is superior to simple routine nursing.
