Effects of Xuezhikang capsules combined with Atorvastatin in treatment of patients with hyperlipidemia
Objective:To observe effects of Xuezhikang capsules combined with Atorvastatin in treatment of patients with hyperlipidemia.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 100 patients with hyperlipidemia admitted to the hospital from November 2021 to November 2023.According to the random number table method,they were divided into control group and study group,50 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Atorvastatin,while the study group was treated with Xuezhikang capsules on the basis of that of the control group.The clinical efficacy,the levels of serum inflammatory factors[C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6)and tumor necrosis factor-ɑ(TNF-ɑ)],lipid metabolism indexes[total cholesterol(TC),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),triglyceride(TG)]and hemorheology indexes(plasma viscosity,whole blood low shear viscosity),and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 96.00%(48/50),which was higher than 84.00%(42/50)in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of CRP,TNF-α and IL-6 in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of TG,TC and LDL-C in the study group were lower than those in the control group,the level of HDL-C was higher than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the plasma viscosity and the whole blood low shear viscosity in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Xuezhikang capsules combined with Atorvastatin can improve the total effective rate of treatment,improve the levels of lipid metabolism indexes,and reduce the levels of serum inflammatory factors and hemorheology indexes in the patients with hyperlipidemia.Moreover,it is superior to simple Atorvastatin treatment.
