Application effects of health education based on LERANS model in patients with stroke in recovery period
Objective:To observe application effects of health education based on LERANS model in patients with stroke in recovery period. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 78 patients with stroke in recovery period who were admitted to the hospital from January 2021 to March 2022.According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group,39 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given the health education based on the LERANS model on the basis of that of the control group. The scores of knowledge-attitude/belief-practice,self-efficacy[stroke rehabilitation self-efficacy questionnaire(SSEQ)]and quality of life[stroke specific quality of life scale(SS-QOL)]before and after the nursing, and the nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results:After the nursing, the scores of knowledge-attitude/belief-practice,SSEQ and SS-QOL in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 100.00%(39/39),which was higher than 84.62%(33/39)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The application of health education based on the LERANS model in the patients with stroke in the recovery period can improve the knowledge-attitude/belief-practice,self-efficacy,quality of life scores and the nursing satisfaction. Moreover,it is superior to the routine nursing.
