Application effects of multisensory stimulation nursing in postoperative coma patients after hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage
Objective:To observe application effects of multisensory stimulation nursing in postoperative coma patients after hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 90 postoperative patients with coma after hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage admitted to the hospital from February 2022 to February 2023.They were divided into observation group and control group by using the random number table method,45 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given the multisensory stimulation nursing on the basis of that of the control group. The Glasgow coma scale(GCS)score, the Coma recovery scale(CRS-R)score,the awakening rate, the neurological deficit[National Institutes of Health stroke scale(NIHSS)]score before and after the nursing, and the incidence of complications during nursing were compared between the two groups. Results:After the nursing, the GCS and CRS-R scores of the two groups were higher than those before the nursing, those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The awakening rate at different time and the total awakening rate in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 2 and 4 weeks of nursing, the NIHSS scores of the two groups were lower than those before the nursing, those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:On the basis of the routine nursing, the multisensory stimulation nursing can improve the GCS scores, the CRS-R scores and the awakening rate of the postoperative coma patients after hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage, and reduce the NIHSS scores. Moreover,it is superior to simple routine nursing.
