Application effects of continuous nursing in patients with posterior circulation ischemic vertigo
Objective:To observe application effects of continuous nursing in patients with posterior circulation ischemic vertigo. Methods:The clinical data of 100 patients with posterior circulation ischemic vertigo admitted to this hospital from January 2020 to February 2023 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different nursing methods, they were divided into observation group and control group,50 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given the continuous nursing on the basis of that of the control group. The scores of vertigo[dizziness assessment rating scale(DARS)],self-care ability[exercise of self-care agency(ESCA)]and quality of life[short form health survey scale(SF-36)],the incidence of adverse events, and the nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups before and after the nursing. Results:After the nursing, the DARS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the nursing, the ESCA and SF-36 scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse events in the observation group was 4.00%(2/50),which was lower than 18.00%(9/50)in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 98.00%(49/50),which was higher than 84.00%(42/50)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The continuous nursing in the patients with posterior circulation ischemic vertigo can reduce the vertigo scores and the incidence of adverse events, and improve the self-care ability, the quality of life scores and the nursing satisfaction. Moreover,it is superior to the routine nursing.
