Effects of operating room nursing based on quantitative evaluation strategy on elderly patients with hip fracture internal fixation
Objective:To observe effects of operating room nursing based on quantitative evaluation strategy on elderly patients with hip fracture internal fixation. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 118 elderly patients who underwent hip fracture internal fixation in this hospital from August 2019 to August 2022.According to the random number table method, they were divided into study group and control group,59 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine operating room nursing, while the study group was treated with the operating room nursing based on quantitative evaluation strategy. The levels of operation-related indicators(intraoperative blood loss, operation time, first out-of-bed after the surgery),the short form health survey scale(SF-36)score,and the incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results:The operation time and the first out-of-bed after the surgery in the study group were shorter than those in the control group, the intraoperative blood loss was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At discharge, the scores of each dimension of SF-36 in the two groups were higher than those before the surgery, those in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).During hospitalization, the incidence of complications in the study group was 6.78%,which was significantly lower than 25.42%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The operating room nursing based on quantitative evaluation strategy for the elderly patients with hip fracture internal fixation can shorten the operation time and the first out-of-bed after the surgery, improve the SF-36 scores, and reduce the intraoperative blood loss and the incidence of complications. Moreover,it is superior to the routine operating room nursing.
