Effects of Yupingfeng granules combined with Budesonide and Montelukast sodium in treatment of children with acute attack of bronchial asthma
Objective:To observe effects of Yupingfeng granules combined with Budesonide and Montelukast sodium in treatment of children with acute attack of bronchial asthma.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 86 children with acute attack of bronchial asthma admitted to the hospital from October 2020 to October 2023.According to the random number table method,they were divided into study group and control group,43 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Budesonide combined with Montelukast sodium,while the study group was treated with Yupingfeng granules on the basis of that of the control group.The clinical efficacy,the lung function indexes[forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1),forced vital capacity(FVC)]levels,airway remodeling indexes[transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1),matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9)]levels,and T cell subsets(CD3+,CD4+,CD8+)levels before and after treatment,and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 95.35%,which was higher than 79.07%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of FEV1 and FVC in the two groups were higher than those before treatment,those in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of TGF-β1 and MMP-9 in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,those in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of CD3+and CD4+in the two groups were higher than those before treatment,and those in the study group were higher than those in the control group;the levels of CD8+in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and that in the study group was lower than that in the control group;and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Yupingfeng granules combined with Budesonide and Montelukast sodium in the treatment of the children with acute attack of bronchial asthma can improve the clinical efficacy and the lung function index levels,improve the levels of T cell subset indexes,and reduce the levels of airway remodeling indexes.Moreover,it is superior to Budesonide combined with Montelukast sodium treatment.
