Effects of Huopu Xialing decoction combined with Omeprazole enteric-coated tablets in treatment of patients with chronic gastritis of damp-heat obstruction type
Objective:To observe effects of Huopu Xialing decoction combined with Omeprazole enteric-coated tablets in treatment of patients with chronic gastritis of damp-heat obstruction type.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 70 patients with chronic gastritis of damp-heat obstruction type admitted to this hospital from November 2020 to November 2022.They were divided into observation group(n=35)and control group(n=35)by using the random number table method.The control group was treated with Omeprazole enteric-coated tablets,while the observation group was treated with Huopu Xialing decoction on the basis of that of the control group.The clinical efficacy,the TCM syndrome scores,the gastrointestinal hormone indexes[cholecystokinin(CCK),motilin(MTL),gastrin(GAS)]levels,and the inflammatory factors[tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-1β(IL-1β)]levels were compared between the two groups before and after the treatment.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was 94.29%(33/35),which was higher than 74.29%(26/35)of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the scores of TCM syndromes such as fullness and discomfort,epigastric pain,dry mouth and bitter mouth,and poor stool in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the level of CCK in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the levels of MTL and GAS were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,after the treatment,the levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-1β in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:Huopu Xialing decoction combined with Omeprazole enteric-coated tablets can improve the total effective rate of treatment,improve the levels of gastrointestinal hormones,and reduce the scores of TCM syndromes and the levels of inflammatory factors in the patients with chronic gastritis of damp-heat obstruction type.Moreover,it is superior to simple Omeprazole enteric-coated tablets treatment.
