Effects of Bailing capsules combined with Methylprednisolone in treatment of children with Henoch-Sch?nlein purpura renal injury
Objective:To observe effects of Bailing capsules combined with Methylprednisolone in treatment of children with Henoch-Schönlein purpura(HSP)renal injury.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 166 children with HSP renal injury admitted to this hospital from July 2020 to June 2023.According to the random number table method,they were divided into control group and study group,83 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Methylprednisolone,while the study group was treated with Bailing capsules on the basis of that of the control group.The clinical efficacy,the renal function indexes[blood urea nitrogen(BUN),monocyte chemotactic factor(MCP-1),serum cystatin C(CysC)]levels,the immune indexes[immunoglobulin(Ig)G,IgA,IgM]levels before and after the treatment,and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 92.77%(77/83),which was higher than 81.93%(68/83)in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of BUN,MCP-1 and CysC in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment,those in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of IgG,IgA and IgM in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment,those in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Bailing capsules combined with Methylprednisolone in the treatment of the children with HSP renal injury can improve the clinical efficacy and reduce the levels of renal function indexes and immunoglobulin indexes.Moreover,it is superior to simple Methylprednisolone treatment.
