Efficiency of contrast-enhanced ultrasound combined with high-frequency color Doppler ultrasound examination in differential diagnosis of benign and malignant polypoid lesions of gallbladder
Objective:To observe efficiency of contrast-enhanced ultrasound combined with high-frequency color Doppler ultrasound examination in differential diagnosis of benign and malignant polypoid lesions of gallbladder. Methods:The clinical data of 78 patients with polypoid lesions of gallbladder admitted to this hospital from March 2022 to March 2023 were retrospectively analyzed.According to the results of pathological biopsy, they were divided into benign group(48 cases)and malignant group(30 cases).High-frequency color Doppler ultrasound examination and contrast-enhanced ultrasound were performed in both groups. The image characteristics of high-frequency color Doppler ultrasound, the contrast-enhanced ultrasound parameters(enhancement starting time, time to peak),and the efficiencies of high-frequency color Doppler ultrasound,contrast-enhanced ultrasound single and combined examinations in the diagnosis of benign and malignant polypoid lesions of gallbladder were compared between the two groups. Results:The proportion of multiple polyps, the proportion of polyps with blood flow and the maximum diameter of polyps in the malignant group were higher than those in the benign group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The starting enhancement time and time to peak of the malignant group were shorter than those of the benign group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The enhancement starting time and the time to peak of the malignant group were shorter than those of the benign group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the sensitivity of contrast-enhanced ultrasound combined with high-frequency color Doppler ultrasound examinations in the diagnosis of malignant polypoid lesions of gallbladder was higher than that of the two single examinations, the missed diagnosis rate was lower than that of the two single examinations, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The efficiency of contrast-enhanced ultrasound combined with high-frequency color Doppler ultrasound examinations in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant polypoid lesions of gallbladder is higher than that of single examination.
