Application effects of clinical nursing pathway in patients with acute ischemic stroke undergoing intravenous thrombolysis
Objective:To observe application effects of clinical nursing pathway in patients with acute ischemic stroke(AIS)undergoing intravenous thrombolysis. Methods:The clinical data of 60 patients with AIS who underwent intravenous thrombolysis in the hospital from February 2020 to February 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.According to the different nursing methods, they were divided into control group and observation group,30 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given the thrombolysis nursing based on the clinical nursing pathway. The emergency efficiency(emergency department stay time, admission to CT examination time and admission to thrombolysis time),the neurological deficit scores[National Institutes of Health stroke scale(NIHSS)]before and after thrombolysis, the success rate of thrombolysis, the incidence of adverse events, and the self-care ability[modified Barthel index(MBI)]score were compared between the two groups. Results:The emergency department stay time, the admission to CT examination time and the admission to thrombolysis time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 24 hours of thrombolysis, the NIHSS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The success rate of thrombolysis in the observation group was 93.33%(28/30),which was higher than 73.33%(22/30)in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse events in the observation group was 10.00%(3/30),which was lower than 36.67%(11/30)in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the MBI score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The clinical nursing pathway is effective for the AIS patients undergoing intravenous thrombolysis. It can shorten the emergency department stay time, the admission to CT examination time and the admission to thrombolysis time to thrombolysis, improve the neurological function and the success rate of thrombolysis, reduce the incidence of adverse events, and improve the f self-care ability. Moreover,it is superior to the routine nursing.
