Application effects of 5E management mode in uremic hemodialysis patients
Objective:To observe application effects of 5E management mode in uremic hemodialysis patients. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 92 uremic hemodialysis patients admitted to the hospital from February 2020 to February 2021.According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group,46 cases in each group. The control group was given routine health education, while the observation group was given the 5E rehabilitation management mode. The levels of water and salt intake(dietary salt content, dietary water content, water intake)and capacity load index(ultrafiltration volume, urine volume, body weight),the sleep quality[Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)]score before and after the intervention, and the incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results:After the intervention, the dietary salt content, dietary water content and water intake of the two groups were lower than those before the intervention, those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the intervention, the ultrafiltration volume, the urine volume and the body weight levels of the two groups were lower than those before the intervention, but there were no significant differences between the two groups(P>0.05).After the intervention, the PSQI scores of daytime dysfunction, hypnotic drugs, sleep disorders, time before falling asleep, sleep time, sleep efficiency and sleep quality in the two groups were lower than those before the intervention, those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the incidence of complications in the observation group was 13.04%(6/46),which was lower than 32.61%(15/46)in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The 5E management model in the uremic hemodialysis patients can reduce the levels of water and salt intake, the sleep quality scores and the incidence of complications. Moreover,it is superior to the routine health education.
