Application effects of seamless nursing in patients undergoing flexible ureteroscopic Holmium laser lithotripsy
Objective:To observe application effects of seamless nursing in patients undergoing flexible ureteroscopic Holmium laser lithotripsy(FURL).Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 72 patients who underwent FURL in the hospital from November 2020 to November 2022.According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group,36 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, while the observation group received the seamless nursing on the basis of that of the control group. Both groups were treated until the patient was discharged. The scores of negative emotions[self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS)]before and after the nursing, the scores of pain[visual analogue scale(VAS)]at different time points(24,36,72 h after the surgery),the incidence of complications, and the nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results:After the nursing, the scores of SAS and SDS in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At 24,36 and 72 h after the surgery, the VAS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 5.56%(2/36),which was lower than 22.22%(8/36)in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 94.44%(34/36),which was higher than 75.00%(27/36)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The seamless nursing in the FURL patients can reduce the negative emotions, the pain scores and the incidence of complications, and improve the nursing satisfaction. Moreover,it is superior to the routine nursing.
