Application effects of transtheoretical model and stages of change nursing in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus
Objective:To observe application effects of transtheoretical model and stages of change nursing in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE).Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 78 patients with SLE admitted to the hospital from August 2020 to August 2022.According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group,39 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine health education, while the observation group was treated with the transtheoretical model and stages of change nursing on the basis of that of the control group. The fatigue scale-14(FS-14)score,the general self-efficacy scale(GSES)score, the SLE self-care ability scale score, and the medical coping mode questionnaire(MCMQ)score were compared between the two groups before and after the intervention. Results:After the intervention, the FS-14 scores of physical and mental fatigue in the two groups were lower than those before the intervention, those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the intervention, the GSES scores of the two groups were higher than those before the intervention, that in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the intervention, the scores of self-care ability of health management concept, disease nursing skills, disease knowledge and self-care responsibility in the two groups were higher than those before the intervention, those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,after the intervention, the scores of facing in the two groups were higher than those before the intervention, and that in the observation group was higher than that in the control group;the scores of yield and avoidance in the two groups were lower than those before the intervention, and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group;and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:On the basis of the routine health education, the transtheoretical model and stages of change nursing can improve the self-efficacy scores and the self-care ability scores of the SLE patients, improve the medical coping scores, and reduce the fatigue grade scores. Moreover,it is superior to simple routine health education.
