Application effects of cognitive behavioral nursing based on forgetting curve theory in patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease
Objective:To observe application effects of cognitive behavioral nursing based on forgetting curve theory in patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 68 patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease admitted to the hospital from 2019 to 2022.According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group(n=34)and observation group(n=34).The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given the cognitive behavioral nursing based on the forgetting curve theory on the basis of that of the control group. The self-care ability[exercise of self-care agency scale(ESCA)]score, the quality of life[the MOS 36-item short form health survey(SF-36)]score before and after the nursing, the nursing compliance, and the recurrence rate were compared between the two groups. Results:After the nursing, the ESCA scores of self-responsibility,self-concept,self-care skills and health knowledge level in the two groups were higher than those before the nursing, those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the nursing, the scores of SF-36 dimensions such as physiological function, physical pain, social function and emotional function in the two groups were higher than those before the nursing, those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The nursing compliance of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 6 months of nursing, the recurrence rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:On the basis of the routine nursing, the cognitive behavioral nursing based on the forgetting curve theory can improve the self-care ability scores, the quality of life scores and the nursing compliance of the patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, and reduce the recurrence rate. Moreover,it is superior to simple routine nursing.
