Effects of Nicorandil in the treatment of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with coronary heart disease
Objective:To observe effects of Nicorandil in treatment of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)complicated with coronary heart disease. Methods:The clinical data of 92 patients with T2DM complicated with coronary heart disease admitted to this hospital from January 2022 to July 2023 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different treatment plans, they were divided into control group and observation group,46 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional treatment, while the observation group was treated with Nicorandil on the basis of that of the control group. The clinical efficacy, the number of angina pectoris attacks, the levels of cardiac function indexes[E,A peak ratio(E/A),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)],heart rate variability indexes[standard deviation of NN intervals(SDNN),root mean square successive differences between successive R-Rintervals(RMSSD),standard deviation of the average NN intervals(SDANN)every 5 min]and serum inflammatory factors[tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin(IL)-34,human cartilage glycoprotein 39(YKL-40),IL-6],and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups before and after the treatment. Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was 89.13%,which was higher than 71.74%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment, the number of angina pectoris attacks in the two groups was less than that before the treatment, that in the observation group was less than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of E/A and LVEF in the two groups were higher than those before the treatment, those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of SDNN,RMSSD and SDANN in the two groups were higher than those before the treatment, those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of TNF-α,IL-34,YKL-40 and IL-6 in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment, those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:On the basis of the conventional treatment,Nicorandil can improve the total effective rate, cardiac function index levels and heart rate variability index levels, and reduce the number of angina pectoris attacks and the serum inflammatory factor levels in the patients with T2DM complicated with coronary heart disease. Moreover,it is superior to simple conventional treatment.
