Effects of Shenfu injection combined with conventional Western medicine in treatment of patients with coronary heart disease and acute heart failure
Objective:To observe effects of Shenfu injection combined with conventional Western medicine in treatment of patients with coronary heart disease and acute heart failure.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 72 patients with coronary heart disease and acute heart failure admitted to the hospital from March 2021 to February 2023.According to the random number table method,they were divided into study group and control group,36 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional Western medicine,while the study group was treated with Shenfu injection on the basis of that of the control group.The total effective rate of treatment,the levels of cardiac function indexes[left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end systolic diameter(LVESD),left ventricular end diastolic diameter(LVEDD)],the myocardial fibrosis indexes[type IV collagen(C-IV),laminin(LN),hyaluronic acid(HA)],the myocardial injury markers[endothelin-1(ET-1),troponinI(cTnⅠ),amino terminal pro brain natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP)],and the myocardial enzymes[creatine kinase isoenzyme(CK-MB),creatine kinase(CK)],and the incidence of adverse reactions during treatment were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of the study group was 86.11%,which was significantly higher than 63.89%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After the treatment,the LVEF levels of the two groups were higher than those before the treatment,and that in the study group was higher than that in the control group;the levels of LVESD,LVEDD,C-IV,LN,HA,cTnⅠ,NT-proBNP,ET-1,CK-MB and CK in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group;and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).During the treatment,there were no obvious adverse reactions in the two groups.Conclusions:Shenfu injection combined with conventional Western medicine in the treatment of the patients with coronary heart disease and acute heart failure can improve the total effective rate of treatment,improve the levels of cardiac function indexes,and reduce the levels of myocardial fibrosis indexes,myocardial injury markers and myocardial enzymes.Moreover,it is superior to simple conventional Western medicine treatment.
