Effects of Yidanshu capsules combined with Octreotide injection in treatment of severe acute pancreatitis of liver qi stagnation type
Objective:To observe effects of Yidanshu capsules combined with Octreotide injection in treatment of severe acute pancreatitis(SAP)of liver qi stagnation type. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 80 patients with SAP of liver qi stagnation type admitted to this hospital from June 2020 to June 2023.According to the random number table method, they were divided into study group and control group,40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Octreotide acetate injection intravenously, while the study group was treated with Yidanshu capsules orally on the basis of that of the control group. The clinical efficacy, the TCM syndrome scores, the serum amylase and lipase levels, and the serum inflammatory factors[C-reactive protein(CRP)and procalcitonin(PCT)]levels before and after the treatment, and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 95.00%(38/40),which was higher than 80.00%(32/40)in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment, the scores of TCM syndromes such as abdominal distension and pain, nausea and vomiting, belching and hiccup, the levels of serum amylase, lipase,CRP and PCT in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Yidanshu capsules combined with Octreotide injection has a significant effect in the treatment of the SAP patients, which can reduce the TCM syndrome scores and the serum amylase, lipase,CRP and PCT levels. Moreover,it is superior to simple Octreotide treatment.
