Application effects of operating room nursing based on quantitative evaluation strategy in elderly patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy
Objective:To observe application effects of operating room nursing based on quantitative evaluation strategy in elderly patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 68 elderly patients who underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy in this hospital from June 2020 to June 2022.According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group,34 cases in each group. The control group was given routine operating room nursing, while the observation group was given routine operating room nursing based on quantitative evaluation strategy. The psychological state[brief profile of mood states(BPOMS)]score, the stress response index[norepinephrine(NE),cortisol(Cor)and epinephrine(AD)]levels before and after the nursing, and the incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results:After the nursing, the BPOMS scores of the two groups were lower than those before the nursing, that in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the nursing, the levels of NE,Cor and AD in the two groups were higher than those before the nursing, but those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the incidence of complications in the observation group was 2.94%(1/34),which was lower than 23.53%(8/34)in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The operating room nursing based on quantitative evaluation in the elderly patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy can improve the psychological state of these patients and reduce the incidence of stress response and complications. Moreover,it is superior to routine operating room nursing.
