Effects of early multi-frequency hyperbaric oxygen therapy on patients with acute cerebral infarction
Objective:To observe effects of early multi-frequency hyperbaric oxygen therapy on patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods:The clinical data of 90 patients with acute cerebral infarction admitted to this hospital from July 2022 to July 2023 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different treatment methods, they were divided into control group and study group,45 cases in each group. The control group was treated with low-frequency hyperbaric oxygen therapy, while the study group was treated with multi-frequency hyperbaric oxygen therapy. The therapeutic effects, the neurological deficit[National Institutes of Health stroke scale(NIHSS)]score, the daily living ability[modified Barthel index(MBI)]score, the neurological function index[neuron-specific enolase(NSE),central nervous specific protein(S100β),glial fibrillary acidic protein(GFAP)]levels, the inflammatory factor[C-reactive protein(CRP),matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9)]levels before and after the treatment, and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate of the study group was 95.56%(43/45),which was higher than 82.22%(37/45)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment, the NIHSS score of the study group was lower than that of the control group, the MBI score was higher than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment, the levels of S100β,NSE,GFAP,CRP and MMP-9 in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Early multi-frequency hyperbaric oxygen therapy for the patients with acute cerebral infarction can improve the total effective rate of treatment and the daily living ability scores, and reduce the NIHSS scores, the neurological function index levels and the inflammatory factor levels. Moreover,it is superior to the low frequency hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
