Effects of Sufentanil combined with Bupivacaine for combined spinal-epidural anesthesia in patients undergoing cesarean section
Objective:To observe effects of Sufentanil combined with Bupivacaine for combined spinal-epidural anesthesia in patients undergoing cesarean section. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 86 patients with cesarean section admitted to the hospital from January 2021 to November 2022.According to the random number table method, they were divided into study group and control group,43 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Bupivacaine combined spinal-epidural anesthesia, while the study group was treated with Sufentanil combined with Bupivacaine combined spinal-epidural anesthesia. The onset time of anesthesia, the time to reach the highest anesthesia plane, the recovery time of pain, the levels of vital signs, the levels of stress indicators, and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:The onset time of anesthesia and the time to reach the highest anesthesia plane in the study group were shorter than those in the control group, the recovery time of pain was longer than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).15 min after anesthesia and at the end of the surgery, the levels of vital signs such as mean arterial pressure, heart rate and blood oxygen saturation in the two groups were lower than those before anesthesia, but those in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).24 h after anesthesia, the levels of stress indicators such as serum norepinephrine, cortisol and substance P in the two groups were higher than those before anesthesia, but those in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was 9.30%,which was significantly lower than 25.58%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:Sufentanil combined with Bupivacaine for combined spinal-epidural anesthesia in the patients undergoing cesarean section can shorten the onset time of anesthesia and the time to reach the highest anesthesia plane, prolong the recovery time of pain, improve the levels of vital signs, and reduce the levels of stress indicators and the incidence of adverse reactions. Moreover,it is superior to simple Bupivacaine combined spinal epidural anesthesia.
