Application effects of bio-psycho-social integrated nursing in patients with knee osteoarthritis undergoing needle knife treatment
Objective:To observe application effects of bio-psycho-social integrated nursing in patients with knee osteoarthritis(KOA)undergoing needle knife treatment. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 88 patients with KOA undergoing needle knife treatment in this hospital from January 2021 to January 2023.They were divided into control group and observation group by using the random number table method,44 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given the bio-psycho-social integrated nursing. The negative emotion[positive and negative affect scale(PANAS)],the severity of knee joint disease[knee osteoarthritis severity index(ISOA)],the quality of life[the MOS 36-item short form health survey(SF-36)],and the nursing satisfaction scores were compared between the two groups before and after the nursing. Results:After the nursing, the positive emotional level PANAS score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the negative emotional level score was lower than that of the control group, and the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the nursing, the ISOA score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the differences was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the nursing, the SF-36 scores of physical function, emotional function, mental health, vitality, physical pain, social function, general health and physiological function in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the scores of nursing methods, psychological intervention, communication attitude and nursing effect in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The bio-psycho-social integrated nursing in the KOA patients can improve the SF-36 and the nursing satisfaction scores, improve the PANAS scores and reduce the ISOA scores. Moreover,it is superior to the routine nursing.
