Effects of Shenfu injection combined with conventional Western medicine in treatment of patients with chronic heart failure complicated with coronary heart disease
Objective:To observe effects of Shenfu injection combined with conventional Western medicine in treatment of patients with chronic heart failure complicated with coronary heart disease.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 100 patients with chronic heart failure and coronary heart disease admitted to this hospital from June 2022 to November 2023.According to the random number table method,they were divided into study group and control group,50 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional Western medicine(Metoprolol,Benazepril,Trimetazidine),while the study group was treated with Shenfu injection on the basis of that of the control group.The total effective rate of treatment,the levels of cardiac function indexes[left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),interventricular septal thickness(IVST)],vascular endothelial function indexes(nitric oxide,endothelin-1)and myocardial injury indexes[serum creatine kinase isoenzyme(CK-MB),N-terminal B-type natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP),angiotensin II(Ang II)],and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 96.00%,which was significantly higher than 84.00%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of LVEF and serum nitric oxide in the study group were higher than those in the control group,the levels of IVST,LVESD,LVEDD,serum endothelin-1,AngII,CK-MB and NT-proBNP were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Shenfu injection combined with conventional Western medicine in the treatment of the patients with chronic heart failure and coronary heart disease can improve the total effective rate of treatment,improve the levels of cardiac function indexes and vascular endothelial function indexes,and reduce the levels of myocardial injury indexes.Moreover,it is superior to simple conventional Western medicine treatment.
