Effects of Esomeprazole magnesium combined with Rebamipide and Kangfuxin liquid in treatment of elderly patients with gastric ulcer bleeding
Objective:To observe effects of Esomeprazole magnesium combined with Rebamipide and Kangfuxin liquid in treatment of elderly patients with gastric ulcer bleeding.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 97 elderly patients with gastric ulcer bleeding admitted to this hospital from October 2020 to October 2023.According to the random number table method,they were divided into control group(48 cases)and observation group(49 cases).The control group was treated with Kangfuxin liquid combined with Rebamipide,while the observation group was treated with Esomeprazole magnesium on the basis of those of the control group.The clinical efficacy,the vascular endothelial function indexes[epidermal growth factor(EGF),prostaglandin E2(PGE2)]levels,and the gastrointestinal hormones[gastrin(GAS),motilin(MTL),somatostatin(SS),calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP)]levels before and after the treatment,and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was 95.92%(47/49),which was higher than 81.25%(39/48)of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of EGF and PGE2 in the two groups were higher than those before the treatment,those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of MTI and GAS in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment,and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group;the levels of SS and CGRP in the two groups were higher than those before the treatment,and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group;and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Esomeprazole magnesium combined with Rebamipide and Kangfuxin liquid in the treatment of the elderly patients with gastric ulcer bleeding can improve the total effective rate of treatment and the levels of vascular endothelial function indexes,and improve the levels of gastrointestinal hormones.Moreover,it is superior to Kangfuxin liquid combined with Rebamipide treatment.
