Effects of low molecular weight Heparin sodium combined with Progesterone in treatment of patients with threatened abortion in early pregnancy
Objective:To observe effects of low molecular weight Heparin sodium combined with Progesterone in treatment of patients with threatened abortion in early pregnancy. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 116 patients with threatened abortion in early pregnancy admitted to the obstetrics department from April 2020 to April 2023.According to the random number table method, they were divided into study group and control group,58 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Progesterone, while the study group was treated with low molecular weight Heparin sodium on the basis of that of the control group. The success rate of tocolysis, the coagulation function indexes[plasma D-dimer(D-D),fibrinogen(FIB),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),thrombin time(TT)and prothrombin time(PT)]levels, the hormones[serum Progesterone, estradiol and human chorionic gonadotropin(HCG)]levels, the vaginal hemostasis time, the abdominal pain relief time, and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:The success rate of tocolysis in the study group was 96.55%,which was significantly higher than 86.21%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment, the levels of APTT,TT and PT in the two groups were longer than those before the treatment, and those in the study group were longer than the those in control group;the levels of D-D and FIB in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment, and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group;and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment, the levels of serum Progesterone, estradiol and HCG in the two groups were higher than those before the treatment, those in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The vaginal hemostasis time and the lumbar and abdominal pain relief time in the study group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Low molecular weight Heparin sodium combined with Progesterone in the treatment of threatened abortion in early pregnancy can improve the success rate of tocolysis and the levels of serum Progesterone, estradiol and HCG,shorten the vaginal hemostasis time and the lumbar and abdominal pain relief time, and improve the levels of coagulation function indexes. Moreover,it is superior to simple Progesterone treatment.
