Effects of Tanreqing injection combined with Sulbactam sodium and Cefoperazone sodium for injection in treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease complicated with pulmonary infection
Objective:To observe effects of Tanreqing injection combined with Sulbactam sodium and Cefoperazone sodium for injection in treatment of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)complicated with pulmonary infection.Methods:The clinical data of 95 patients with COPD complicated with pulmonary infection admitted to this hospital from November 2022 to November 2023 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into observation group(n=49)and control group(n=46).The control group was treated with Sulbactam sodium and Cefoperazone sodium for injection,while the observation group was treated with Tanreqing injection on the basis of those of the control group.The symptom relief time,the lung function indexes[alveolar ventilation(VA),total lung capacity(TLC),maximum mid-expiratory flow(MMEF)]levels,the serum inflammatory factors[tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),procalcitonin(PCT)]levels,and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The remission time of chest tightness,shortness of breath,expectoration,cough,lung wet rales and other symptoms in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of lung function indexes such as VA,TLC and MMEF in the two groups were higher than those before the treatment,those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of serum inflammatory factors such as TNF-α and PCT in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment,those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Tanreqing injection combined with Sulbactam sodium and Cefoperazone sodium for injection in the treatment of the COPD patients with pulmonary infection can improve the levels of lung function indexes,shorten the symptom relief time,and reduce the levels of inflammatory factors.Moreover,it is superior to simple Sulbactam sodium and Cefoperazone sodium for injection treatment.
