Application effects of intensive health education nursing in patients with high-risk pressure ulcer
Objective:To observe application effects of intensive health education nursing in patients with high-risk pressure ulcer.Methods:The clinical data of 206 patients with high-risk pressure ulcer admitted to the hospital from February 2019 to December 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different nursing schemes,they were divided into study group and control group,103 cases in each group.The control group was given routine health education nursing,while the study group was given the intensive health education nursing.The disease awareness score,the health behavior[health promoting lifestyle profile II(HPLP II)]score before and after the nursing,the incidence of pressure ulcer,and the nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results:After the nursing,the awareness scores of disease knowledge,self-care,medication knowledge and preventive health care in the two groups were higher than those before the nursing,those in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the nursing,the HPLP II scores of the two groups were higher than those before the nursing,that in the study group was higher than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of pressure ulcer in the study group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the nursing satisfaction rate of the study group was 91.26%(94/103),which was higher than 79.61%(82/103)of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The intensive health education nursing in the patients with high-risk pressure ulcer can improve the disease awareness scores,the health behavior scores and the nursing satisfaction,and reduce the incidence of pressure ulcer.Moreover,it is superior to routine health education nursing.
