Application effects of specialist nurse-led enhanced recovery after surgery nursing in children with congenital megacolon surgeries
Objective:To explore application effects of specialist nurse-led enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS)nursing in children with congenital megacolon surgeries. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 66 children with congenital megacolon admitted to the hospital from April 2017 to February 2019.According to the random number table method, they were divided into study group(n=33)and control group(n=33).The control group was given routine nursing, while the study group was given the specialist nurse-led ERAS nursing. The levels of postoperative recovery-related indexes(first anal exhaust time, first feeding time, hospitalization time),the incidence of postoperative complications, and the parental nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results:The first anal exhaust time, the first feeding time and the hospitalization time in the study group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications in the study group was 6.06%(2/33),which was lower than 27.27%(9/33)in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the nursing satisfaction of parents in the study group was 96.97%,which was higher than 75.76%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The specialist nurse-led ERAS nursing in the children with congenital megacolon surgery can improve nursing satisfaction, and reduce the levels of postoperative recovery related indexes and the incidence of postoperative complications. Moreover,it is superior to the routine nursing.
