Effects of carbon dioxide lattice laser combined with 308 nm excimer laser in treatment of vitiligo
Objective:To observe effects of carbon dioxide lattice laser combined with 308 nm excimer laser in treatment of vitiligo. Methods:The clinical data of 72 patients with vitiligo admitted to the hospital from May 2019 to May 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different treatment methods, they were divided into observation group and control group,36 cases in each group. The control group was treated with 308 nm excimer laser, while the observation group was treated with carbon dioxide lattice laser on the basis of that of the control group. The clinical efficacy, the levels of disease-specific indicators[serum tyrosinase antibody IgM(TYR-IgM),tyrosinase antibody IgG(TYR-IgG)]levels before and after the treatment, the incidence of adverse reactions, and the vitiligo regression time were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was 97.22%(35/36),which was higher than 77.78%(28/36)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment, the levels of serum TYR-IgM and TYR-IgG in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment, those in the observation group were lower than vitiligo the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The time of 95%,50%and 30%regression of vitiligo in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Carbon dioxide lattice laser combined with 308 nm excimer laser in the treatment of the vitiligo patients can improve the total effective rate of treatment, shorten the vitiligo regression time, and reduce the levels of disease-specific indicators. Moreover,it is superior to simple 308 nm excimer laser treatment.
