Effects of Jin's three-needle combined with rehabilitation training on spastic hemiplegia after stroke in elderly patients
Objective:To observe effects of Jin's three-needle combined with rehabilitation training on elderly patients with spastic hemiplegia after stroke. Methods:The clinical data of 60 elderly patients with spastic hemiplegia after stroke admitted to this hospital from January 2020 to June 2023 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different treatment methods, they were divided into observation group and control group,30 cases in each group. Both groups were given basic treatment. On this basis, the control group was treated with rehabilitation training, while the observation group was treated with Jin's three-needle therapy on the basis of that of the control group. Both groups were treated for 8 weeks. The clinical efficacy, the spasm degree[clinical spasm index(CSI)],the limb motor function[Fugl-Meyer assessment scale(FMA)],and the quality of life[patient reported outcomes(PRO)of stroke patients with spastic paralysis]were compared between the two groups before and after the treatment. Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was 93.33%(28/30),which was higher than 73.33%(22/30)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment, the CSI scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment, the FMA scores of upper limbs and lower limbs in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,after the treatment, the scores of physical symptoms, psychological feelings, social function and other PRO dimensions in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:Jin's three-needle combined with rehabilitation training in the treatment of the elderly patients with spastic hemiplegia after stroke can improve the total effective rate of treatment and the limb motor function scores, and reduce the spasm degree scores and the quality of life scores. Moreover,it is superior to simple rehabilitation training.
