Effects of Suhuang Zhike capsules combined with Aminophylline in treatment of patients with chronic bronchitis
Objective:To observe effects of Suhuang Zhike capsules combined with Aminophylline in treatment of patients with chronic bronchitis.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 200 patients with chronic bronchitis admitted to the hospital from August 2019 to August 2023.According to the random number table method,they were divided into control group and study group,100 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Aminophylline,while the study group was treated with Suhuang Zhike capsules on the basis of that of the control group.The clinical efficacy,the lung function indexes[forced vital capacity(FVC),forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1),FEV1/FVC]levels,the TCM syndrome(cough,sore throat and dry throat,yellow nasal discharge)scores,the inflammatory factors[C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-4(IL-4),interleukin-10(IL-10)]levels before and after the treatment,and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 96.00%(96/100),which was higher than 88.00%(88/100)in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of FVC,FEV1 and FEV1/FVC in the two groups were higher than those before the treatment,those in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of TCM syndromes such as cough,sore throat and dry throat and yellow nasal discharge in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment,those in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of CRP and IL-4 in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment,and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group;the levels of IL-10 in the two groups were higher than those before the treatment,and that in the study group was higher than that in the control group;and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Suhuang Zhike capsules combined with Aminophylline in the treatment of the patients with chronic bronchitis can improve the clinical efficacy,improve the lung function,reduce the TCM syndrome scores,and reduce the body's inflammatory response.Moreover,it is superior to simple Aminophylline treatment.
