Efficiency of combined detection of peripheral blood NLR,NHR and MHR levels in diagnosis of acute glomerulonephritis in children
Objective:To analyze efficiency of combined detection of peripheral blood neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio(NLR),neutrophil to high-density lipoprotein ratio(NHR),monocyte to high-density lipoprotein ratio(MHR)in diagnosis of acute glomerulonephritis(AGN)in children Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 70 children with AGN admitted to this hospital from July 2022 to June 2023.According to the staging criteria of acute kidney injury(AKI),these patients were divided into AKI stage 1,AKI stage 2 and AKI stage 3.Another 30 healthy children were selected as the control group. The levels of NLR,NHR and MHR in the peripheral blood of all subjects were compared.Spearman correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlations among the peripheral blood NLR,NHR,MHR levels and the AKI stage in the children with AGN.The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was drawn to analyze the efficiencies of single and combined detection of peripheral blood NLR,NHR and MHR levels in the diagnosis of AGN.Results:The levels of NLR,NHR and MHR in the children with AKI stage 1,2 and 3 were higher than those in the control group;the levels of NLR,NHR and MHR in the children with AKI stage 2 and 3 were higher than those in the children with AKI stage 1;the levels of NLR,NHR and MHR in the children with AKI stage 3 were higher than those in the children with AKI stage 2;and the differences were statistically significant(PP<0.05).The Spearman correlation analysis results showed that the levels of NLR,NHR,and MHR in the peripheral blood were positively correlated with the AKI staging in the children with AGN(r>0,P<0.05).The ROC curve showed that the areas under the curve(AUC)of single and combined detection of peripheral blood NLR,NHR and MHR levels was 0.789,0.790,0.734 and 0.902,separately,all of which had certain diagnostic efficiency, but the efficiency of combined detection in the diagnosis of AGN was higher than that of single detection. Conclusions:The efficiency of combined detection of peripheral blood NLR,NHR and MHR levels in the diagnosis of AGN is higher than that of single detection of the three.
