Application effects of pharmaceutical intervention in prescription of Quinolone antibiotics
Objective:To observe application effects of pharmaceutical intervention in prescription of Quinolone antibiotics. Methods:From June 2021 to June 2022,85 patients(245 prescriptions of Quinolones antibiotics)with routine medication management in this hospital were selected as the control group, and 83 patients(252 prescriptions of Quinolones antibiotics)with pharmaceutical intervention from July 2022 to July 2023 were selected as the observation group. The incidence of irrational drug use prescriptions, the physicians'Quinolone antibiotics knowledge awareness scores, and the Quinolone antibiotics treatment-related index levels were compared between the two groups. Results:The incidence of irrational drug use prescriptions such as unreasonable drug selection, incompatibility, unreasonable usage and dosage, repeated drug use,and drug interaction in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The physicians'Quinolone antibiotics knowledge awareness score in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the medication time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group, the incidence of adverse reactions, drug utilization index and the number of drug-resistant strains were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:Pharmaceutical intervention can improve the physicians'Quinolone antibiotics knowledge awareness scores, and reduce the incidence of irrational drug prescription and the Quinolone antibiotics treatment-related index levels. Moreover,it is superior to simple routine medication management.
