Differential diagnostic value of CT angiography three-dimensional reconstruction for benign and malignant pulmonary space-occupying lesions
Objective:To observe differential diagnostic value of CT angiography three-dimensional reconstruction for benign and malignant pulmonary space-occupying lesions. Methods:A cross-sectional study was conducted on 80 patients with pulmonary space-occupying lesions admitted to this hospital from January 2021 to December 2023. All patients underwent conventional CT examination,CT angiography three-dimensional reconstruction and pathological examination. Using the results of pathological examination as the gold standard, the efficacies of conventional CT examination and CT angiography three-dimensional reconstruction in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant pulmonary space-occupying lesions were compared. Kappa consistency test was used to analyze the consistency between the diagnostic results of conventional CT examination,CT angiography three-dimensional reconstruction and pathological examination. Results:The pathological examination showed that there were 35 cases of malignant lesions and 45 cases of benign lesions in the 80 patients with pulmonary space-occupying lesions. The specificity of CT angiography three-dimensional reconstruction in the diagnosis of malignant pulmonary space-occupying lesions was 95.56%,which was higher than 82.22% of conventional CT examination, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The accuracy of CT angiography three-dimensional reconstruction in the diagnosis of malignant pulmonary space-occupying lesions was 96.25%,which was higher than 81.25% of conventional CT examination, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Kappa consistency test showed that the consistency between the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant pulmonary space-occupying lesions by CT angiography three-dimensional reconstruction and pathological examination (Kappa=0.925,P<0.05),which was higher than (Kappa=0.430,P<0.05) of conventional CT examination and pathological examination. There was no significant difference in the sensitivity of CT angiography three-dimensional reconstruction and conventional CT in the diagnosis of malignant pulmonary space-occupying lesions (P>0.05). Conclusions:The accuracy, specificity and consistency of CT angiography three-dimensional reconstruction in the diagnosis of malignant pulmonary space-occupying lesions are higher than those of conventional CT examination.
