Application effects of quality control management in anti-tumor drug allocation in pharmacy intravenous admixture services
Objective:To observe application effects of quality control management in antitumor drug allocation in the pharmacy intravenous admixture services. Methods:A total of 746 oncology drug prescriptions during the implementation of conventional management in the pharmacy intravenous admixture services of the hospital from January to December 2020 were selected as the control group, and 746 oncology drug prescriptions during the implementation of quality control management in the pharmacy intravenous admixture services of the hospital from January to December 2021 were selected as the study group. The anti-tumor drugs allocation error rate, the drugs allocation time (prescription review time, drug arrangement time, preparation time, drug delivery time),the drug safety knowledge awareness score, and the job satisfaction score of drugs allocation personnel were compared between the two groups. Results:The anti-tumor drugs allocation error rate in the study group was 0.27% (2/746),which was lower than 1.21% (9/746) in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The prescription review time, drug arrangement time, preparation time and delivery time of the study group were shorter than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The dispensing safety knowledge awareness score in the study group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Further, the job satisfaction scores of drugs allocation personnel such as work mode, work environment, work content and work safety in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions:The quality control management in the anti-tumor drugs allocation in the pharmacy intravenous admixture services can reduce the anti-tumor drug allocation error rate, shorten the time of drug allocation, and improve the awareness drug safety knowledge scores and the job satisfaction scores of drug allocation personnel. Moreover,it is superior to conventional management.
