Comparison of effects of Angiojet mechanical thrombectomy and peripheral venous thrombolysis in treatment of patients with acute lower extremity deep venous thrombosis
Objective:To compare effects of Angiojet mechanical thrombectomy and peripheral venous thrombolysis in treatment of patients with acute lower extremity deep venous thrombosis. Methods:The clinical data of 60 patients with acute lower extremity deep venous thrombosis admitted to this hospital from June 2020 to June 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. According to different treatment methods, they were divided into study group (n=30) and control group (n=30). The study group was treated with Angiojet mechanical thrombectomy, while the control group was treated with peripheral intravenous thrombolysis. The levels of circumference difference between the affected and healthy sides, the lower limb venous patency score, the levels of coagulation function indexes[D-dimer (D-D),fibrinogen (FIB)]before and after the treatment, and the incidence of complications/adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:At 1,3 and 6 days after the treatment, the circumference difference between the affected and healthy sides of the two groups were smaller than those before the treatment, those in the study group were smaller than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). At 3 and 6 days after the treatment, the lower extremity venous patency scores in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment, those in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). At 7 days after the treatment, the levels of FIB and D-D in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment, the levels of FIB and D-D in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). However, there was no significant difference in the incidence of complications/adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusions:Angiojet mechanical thrombectomy in the treatment of the patients with acute lower extremity deep venous thrombosis can reduce the circumference difference between the affected side and the healthy side, the lower extremity venous patency scores and the coagulation function. Moreover,it is superior to peripheral intravenous thrombolysis.
