Application effects of evidence-based nursing in postoperative elderly patients with acute aortic dissection
Objective:To observe application effects of evidence-based nursing in postoperative elderly patients with acute aortic dissection. Methods:The clinical data of 113 postoperative elderly patients with acute aortic dissection admitted to this hospital from January to December 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. According to different nursing methods, they were divided into control group (56 cases) and observation group (57 cases). The control group was given routine postoperative nursing, while the observation group was given evidence-based nursing on the basis of that of the control group. The scores of negative emotions[Hamilton anxiety scale (HAMA),Hamilton depression scale (HAMD)]and quality of life[Nottingham health profile (NHP)]before and after the nursing, the incidence of complications, and the nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results:After the nursing, the scores of HAMA and HAMD in the two groups were lower than those before the nursing, those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After the nursing, the NHP scores of physical activity, sleep, social contact, emotional response, vitality and pain in the two groups were higher than those before the nursing, those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 1.75% (1/57),which was lower than 14.29% (8/56) in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Further, the nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 98.25% (56/57),which was higher than 83.93% (47/56) of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions:The evidence-based nursing in the elderly patients with acute aortic dissection can reduce the negative emotion scores and the incidence of complications, improve the quality of life scores and the nursing satisfaction. Moreover,it is superior to the routine nursing.
