Application effects of joint decision-making nursing based on information asymmetry theory in patients with diabetic peripheral arterial disease undergoing percutaneous transluminal angioplasty
Objective:To observe application effects of joint decision-making nursing based on information asymmetry theory in patients with diabetic peripheral arterial disease undergoing percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA). Methods:The clinical data of 86 patients with diabetic peripheral arterial disease undergoing PTA admitted to this hospital from December 2021 to March 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. According to different nursing methods, they were divided into control group and observation group,43 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given the joint decision-making nursing based on information asymmetry theory on the basis of that of the control group. The compliance score, the negative emotions[self-rating anxiety scale (SAS),self-rating depression scale (SDS)]scores, the self-perceived burden[self-perceived burden scale (SPBS)]score, the nursing satisfaction[Newcastle satisfaction with nursing scale (NSNS)]score before and after the nursing, and the complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results:The compliance scores of drug use, daily self-examination and reexamination, diet and exercise in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After the nursing, the scores of SAS and SDS in the two groups were lower than those before the nursing, those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After the nursing, the scores of dimensions of SPBS such as physical factors, emotional factors and economic factors in the two groups were lower than those before the nursing, those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The NSNS score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Further, the incidence of complications in the observation group was 6.98% (3/43),which was lower than 23.26% (10/43) in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions:The joint decision-making nursing based on information asymmetry theory in the patients with diabetic peripheral arterial disease undergoing PTA can improve the compliance scores and the nursing satisfaction score, and reduce the negative emotions, the self-perceived burden scores and the complication rate. Moreover,it is superior to simple routine nursing.
