Application effects of case nursing based on PRECEDE-PROCEED model in patients with lung cancer
Objective:To observe application effects of case nursing based on PRECEDE-PROCEED model in patients with lung cancer. Methods:The clinical data of 102 patients with lung cancer admitted to this hospital from 2021 to 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. According to different nursing methods, they were divided into control group and observation group,51 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given the case nursing based on PRECEDE-PROCEED model on the basis of that of the control group. The levels of lung function indexes[forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1),forced vital capacity (FVC),FEV1/FVC],the self-perceived burden[self-perceived burden scale (SPBS)]score, the self-care ability[exercise of self-care agency scale (ESCA)],the quality of life[general quality of life inventory-74 (GQOLI-74)]score before and after the nursing, and the nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results:After the nursing, the FEV1,FVC and FEV1/FVC levels of the two groups were higher than those before the nursing, those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After the nursing,SPBS scores of the two groups were lower than those before the nursing, that in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After the nursing,ESCA and GQOLI-74 scores of the two groups were higher than those before the nursing, those of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Further, the nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 98.04% (50/51),which was higher than 86.27% (44/51) of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions:On the basis of the routine nursing, the case nursing based on PRECEDE-PROCEED model can improve the levels of lung function indexes, the ESCA scores, the GQOLI-74 scores and the nursing satisfaction of the patients with lung cancer, and reduce the SPBS scores. Moreover,it is superior to simple routine nursing.
