Application effects of mindfulness decompression nursing in patients with lung cancer undergoing chemotherapy
Objective:To observe application effects of mindfulness decompression nursing in patients with lung cancer undergoing chemotherapy. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 78 patients with lung cancer undergoing chemotherapy admitted to the hospital from 2019 to 2020. According to the random number table method, they were divided into observation group and control group,39 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given the mindfulness decompression nursing on the basis of that of the control group. The cancer fatigue scale (CFS) score, the checklist scale-90 (SCL-90) score, the Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) score, and the MOS 36-item short form health survey (SF-36) score were compared between the two groups. Results:After the nursing, the scores and the total scores of CFS,SCL-90 and PSQI in the observation group were lower than those in the control group;the scores of SF-36 in each dimension were higher than those in the control group;and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions:On the basis of the routine nursing, the mindfulness decompression nursing can improve the SF-36 scores of the patients with lung cancer undergoing chemotherapy, and reduce the CFS,SCL-90 and PSQI scores. Moreover,it is superior to simple routine nursing.
