Application effects of mind mapping nursing in patients with leukemia undergoing chemotherapy
Objective:To observe application effects of mind mapping nursing in patients with leukemia undergoing chemotherapy. Methods:The clinical data of 82 patients with leukemia undergoing chemotherapy in the hospital from November 2021 to May 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. According to the time of admission, they were divided into control group and observation group,41 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given the mind mapping nursing on the basis of that of the control group. The scores of negative emotions[Hamilton anxiety scale (HAMA),Hamilton depression scale (HAMD)]before and after the nursing, the incidence of adverse events during the nursing, and the nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results:After the nursing, the HAMA and HAMD scores of the two groups were lower than those before the nursing, those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse events in the observation group was 2.44% (1/41),which was lower than 19.51% (8/41) in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Further, the nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 95.12% (39/41),which was higher than 78.05% (32/41) of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions:The mind mapping nursing on the basis of the routine nursing can improve the nursing satisfaction of the patients with leukemia undergoing chemotherapy, and reduce the negative emotions scores and the incidence of adverse events. Moreover,it is superior to simple routine nursing.
